Visited Kitchen Montagu for breakfast this morning with my wife. We had the Breaky Sando and the Gourmet Avocado Pumpkin Toast. Both were excellent, however the Avocado toast did come with a red onion garnish which was not listed on the menu. This might seem small, but my wife has an onion allergy. We also had coffee and milkshakes. We sat outside, which was pleasant enough. The doors were closed to keep the aircon inside, however this does result in the space being very loud inside. Overall the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. We will likely return.

Been to this local favourite of ours quite a few times. The sandos are well prepared with great flavours no matter which you choose. We personally love the Mr Thomas’ Sando, mushroom toastie Hashy hash and our son loves the toasties. Coffee is great and a friendly team. Love coming here!

We ordered the Big Big Big Brekky & Classic Eggs Bene - definitely worth the price as they both tasted amazing & service was fast considering the place was almost full! We also ordered a Taro Latte which we have fallen in love with, my partner went to get another Taro latte to-go because it was that good, not to mention the barista gave it to him on the house! Would give 10 stars if we could, we will definitely be back. 😋

This little gem is recommended by a teenager who saw their Instagram video with their Sandos. I'm glad we went for lunch and tried their Pork Katsu and Southern Fried Chicken Sandos, as well as the Soft Shell Crab Burger. They were all very nice, the chicken is a little spicy with peri peri mayo and jalapeno, and I love it! The pork is thick but still tender and juicy. Very happy with our visit and will go back to try their breakfast menu.

We had a very nice pleasant breakfast on a rainy day! The boss at the counter was so friendly and very kind. Very good service and we ordered 2 hot drinks and he gave us 5 stamps instead of 2! Thank you. The Wagyu sandos was cooked to perfection and the softshell crab salad was refreshing too! Worth going with the pricing! Not as expensive as some cafes!

I’ve been here a couple of times and its always been a great experience. Staff are amazing, super friendly and kind. The best part is of course the coffee and food. Every dish is beautifully presented. It was great trying new things and it has now become our favourite little spot.

Have you been to check out this amazing cafe serving up gourmet toasties and sandos yet? Wifey and I were lucky enough to be invited to try it out - @kitchenmontagu 🤩🤗 . 📍 Rochedale Shopping Village, Shop 19/549-561 Underwood Rd, Rochedale QLD 4123 . With a very big range to choose from on their menu, the speciality here is definitely their Japanese inspired Sando range. We chose a few to try out, with our order: ~ Wagyu Katsu sando ~ Ebi Prawn Sando ~ Pork Katsu Sando ~ Mr Thomas Sando ~ Espresso frappe ~ Orange 🍊 Long Black . Sooo much yumminess in one seating 🤤 All of the sandos are really prettily presented. They’re all served on a thick, fluffy bread with the filling of your choosing. I started with the cult favourite, their Wagyu Katsu one - it’s cooked so perfectly tender, the meat is still a bit pink (which is great) , combined with the mustard, it’s perfect 👌🏻 . Wifey started off on the Ebi Prawn Sando. As pictured, there was no fish roe (cos Wifey requested to have without it) but it did normally come with. It’s filled with prawns, mayo and egg salad - again this combo was really delicious 🤤 . Buuut my favourite one so far was the Mr Thomas Sando! It’s a combo of egg, feta, avocado and pickled onions and trust me - it sounds simple but the flavour is perfect together 🤤 . Oh and the drink I got isn’t listed on the menu but Orange 🍊 plus coffee ☕️ is a winning combo too. If that’s your thing (like it is mine), gives it a try and order it 🤗🤭 . All in all a great feed from a warm, welcoming and friendly team. Definitely worth a visit if you love those fluffy bread sandos! I know Wifey and I will be back to try more of the menu too 🫶🏻👍🏻

I’ve been here 3x now food is fantastic and the fresh OJ 👌 everything is so good!!! Definitely my new fav spot already brought two friends here! And we all love it 😍

Good coffee, and great pancakes 🥞 made really well with not too much toppings. Served with real maple syrup. Nice place to sit for breakfast, and a good menu.
